Iāve never seen sand so white and water so clear, you could see thousands of tiny silver fish swimming around your feet and we even had stingrays swimming right past us!
Disneyās private island, Castaway Cay, was an absolute bucket list dream of mine to visit and getting to go as an unscheduled stop on our recent transatlantic cruise was a real highlight of last year ā¤ļø
It was the ultimate magical Disney moment and one of the most beautiful places Iāve ever seen.
While youāre on the Island, your lunch is provided just like on the ship and theres a self service soft drink station and ice cream machines too. There are family beaches with plenty to keep kids occupied and a kids club operates on the island run by the staff from the onboard kids clubs too. Thereās also an adults only beach for those who want to have some chill time.
The characters do meet & greets in special outfits, and there are various paid activities you can book such as snorkelling and bike tours. Tyne & Jon did a Stingray feeding and snorkelling experience which they loved!

I was so thrilled to find all of the Alaska cruise bits as weāre hoping to plan an Alaska cruise soon!
The dresses in pictures 1 - 5 were all ones I made myself! I canāt believe Iāve managed to make them considering I only started to learn in April! Iām determined to keep learning and improving. Maybe one day I can open my own little custom Disney makes boutique, where sizes are truly inclusive and unlimited, and personalised to the wearer and Disney magic is for everyone! The dream! š

Iām a just-turned 43 year old scouse Mum of 3, living in Devon. Iām raising 3 kids, some neurodivergent and one of whom identifies as transgender - and because their neurodivergence helped me to recognise my own, I was diagnosed autistic last year.
I home educate the kids, and iāve run a blog and worked as a freelance writer since 2012 but the DREAM is to be an author one day.
Iām happily plus size and firmly anti-diet (for meā¦you do you!) after a lifetime of shame-based self loathing.
I am a massive Disnerd and spend every spare penny I have (and then someā¦) on Disney trips. I love Disney dressing, and I get almost as much joy from planning and chatting about trips as I do from taking them.
I also collect chronic illnesses like theyāre going out of fashion and my mobility is not great as a result of them, so you may well see me embracing mobility aids at times as Iām desperately trying to increase my confidence with allowing myself to use them when iām in a bad pain flare (or to avoid bad pain flares!)
I LOVE Halloween, and the autumnā¦.I rewatch Gilmore Girls every single year, I love musicals, and Iām really into witchcraft, tarot cards and spiritual things too.
Iām also a domestic abuse survivor and - as you may be able to tell - iām not one for small talk and pleasantries!!
Iām an open book and Iām all for honesty and addressing the tricky topics in life as well as the fluff. I LOVE connecting with people, and would much rather get deep and go all in than make small talk.

So Iām Hayley, Iām 41 and Iām from Liverpool but iāve lived in Devon for 16 years.
I live with my partner Jon, a geordie, and our 3 kids - who have some very mixed up accents!
We live a bit outside the box as we home educate, and one of my kids is transgender - so I try to use social media to raise awareness of issues affecting trans youth, as well as other things Iām passionate about such as trying to help women to stop feeling like theyāre not good enough!
Iāve always struggled with my mental health and low self-esteem, especially after going through domestic abuse, and I spent most of my life hating myself no matter what my weight, so now as a size 22 woman Iām learning to love and accept myself just as I am and Iād love to encourage others to do the same. I love clothes and I have zero desire to ādress my ageāā¦infact iām pretty hellbent on growing old as disgracefully as possible!
I still struggle with self doubt often, but iām learning to accept that thereās no such thing as an unflawed human - and thereās beauty in the imperfect.
I spent a lot of these 10 yrs online feeling that Instagram wasnāt the place for a plus sized, working class woman with bad mental health days who lives in a rented (messy) house but in recent years Iāve stopped trying to apologise for who I am and started to embrace it.
This account is a mish-mash of all the things that are important to me - body image, plus size fashion, family travel, trans advocacy, mental health, life after abuse and finding self love after a lifetime of self loathing.
Itās a bit of a jumble, but what I can promise you is honesty.
