Judge Callahan, a United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, has devoted her career to public service across nearly every level of the legal system—from prosecutor to trial judge, appellate justice, and federal circuit judge. We are proud to recognize her remarkable service to the law, the courts, and the legal profession.
A lifelong vocalist and first-generation law student, Monzon has distinguished herself through her musical achievements and service to the Southwestern community. She serves as co-president of Bisong, the law school’s a cappella group, and is an active cantor at St. Brendan Catholic Church.
She shares, “Being selected as the commencement singer for the Class of 2026 is an incredible honor. This opportunity reflects the hard work, perseverance, and dedication that carried me through law school, as well as the role music has played throughout my life. I am grateful to contribute something personal and heartfelt to such an important milestone for my graduating class.”
