It’s been 9 months since my last post here, and close to 7 months since we opened the doors to Full Frame Beer.
While I knew things were not going to be easy owning a brewery in Downtown Denver, I couldn’t have expected or prepared for the amount of stress doing this has turned out to be- I continue to be humbled more than ever in my working adult life.
Between starting with minimal cash, huge equipment failures right out the gate, and the learning curve it’s taken to just keep the doors open, it’s been eye opening to see just how small businesses struggle these days.
Brewery ownership has two extreme feelings: the highs of being able to say that you’re part of something bigger, and the lows of barely keeping your head above water.
I’m extremely proud of the quality of beer we’ve been putting out, trying to make a name for ourselves, and doing what we do best. Opening our doors to be a safe, welcoming place to people I think is more important than ever through this political climate. Being able to share our vision and style with people has been more rewarding than I expected.
Every day I see news of another brewery closing. It’s terrifying- but we’re not giving up, and we’re fighting every day. Support your local brewery, check in on your friends, and give money to the crafters of the world.
✌️ thank you to everyone who has shown up for Full Frame and continues to support us. Y’all make this all worth it!
Wheeewww what a few weeks it’s been. The real, real work has begun after taking over this space. It feels really good to be working towards something that’s our own, seeing our vision come to life. It feels great to be learning new things on a daily basis, many things I never planned on knowing. And there’s still so much to learn. It’s challenging, and terrifying, and HARD work. It’s really interesting to see so many things fall into place for us, things we’ve got lucky on, and seeing the amount of incredible support we have. It all feels like a confirmation that I’m on the right path and the universe has led me to being a business owner.
One thing my business partner and I have always been committed to is putting in the work. With the industry trend being down right now, I think ownership willing to do what it takes to make a brewery successful is key right now. We’re going to bartend, brew, manage…all of the things. We’re not the kind of people to own a business and lay back and take a cut. We’re putting in the work, because that’s who we are.
Things are moving along, and we’re hoping to open sometime in February with a fresh new look. Refinishing tables has been the biggest project but damnnnn if it ain’t worth it! I can’t wait to welcome everyone into the space 🥹
Fall has always been an interesting season for me, filled with mixed emotions. The blistering heat turns to cool crisp breezes, the blazing yellow of the aspens, THE BEER, exchanging out my light lagers for malty lagers in liter form marks the start of another year passed.
Fall for me marks a season of change, and so much change is happening in my life. Professionally - my job as I know it is going away. Hopefully to change into something new and exciting whether that be ownership or brewing somewhere new, or a new job all together. Personally- life has never been better. I started a new relationship, I’m loving my new apartment, for the first time I don’t dread the impending winter depression. I’m doing better mentally than I have in years.
This fall I’m reminded that sometimes things must die to be born again into something new and exciting. Through my 34 years of life I’ve learned to accept change, death of certain things, to accept what the world has to offer me in new ways. While it’s hard to let go sometimes - the world has a way of forcing you into new challenges and new lives. And for that, I am thankful 😌
I can’t wait to see where the universe takes me by next fall, and what change I’ll go through between then!

Do you ever have moments in your life where you look back and realize how incredibly far you’ve come? I look at this picture, and my life, and think…holy shit I’ve done this.
If I’m being honest the past 5 years have felt like an uphill battle. Between coming out later in life, going through immense heartbreak, and supporting myself for the first time, I’ve trudged through life not really ever feeling like I have a hold on anything including my sanity. Old wounds came back to haunt me, I lost what it meant to love myself and create healthy boundaries. I lost myself somewhere in there while also feeling like I was becoming myself at the same time.
This past year has taught me soooo much. Overcoming the loss of relationships between friends and a significant other. Getting a therapist who actually makes a massive difference in my life. Pouring myself into opening a business to continue to do what I love. Between the cracks of all these challenges I somehow found a way back to myself, to someone who knows what they want in life, to resiliency, to falling in love with my life again. For the first time in five years I feel truly happy again. I’ve been able to cultivate deep, meaningful relationships with friends that I honestly don’t know where I would be without. I’ve been able to look at the full moon and not feel like something was missing, because I’ve been here all along, I just had to find her again.
Excited and a healthy level of terrified to see what comes next in my new chapter, but going into it with such an open heart that’s ready to give all this love and compassion to whatever I’m going to do.
If you’re feeling lost, I hope all of you find a way back to yourself, to loving life, because it has so much to offer you, again and again.
Hey friends 👋🏻
To be honest, I miss posting on here more. I’ve gotten less and less motivated with social media over the years. I started this account over 8 years ago and always amazed on how much it’s grown, the people I’ve been able to meet, and the opportunities it’s given me. I feel like I have so many ideas for reels and pics but damn, it’s really nice to just be in the moment and not focus on what has felt like another job. But I miss the connection, I miss having the ability to inspire people to pursue their passions. I really am going to try and be more present in this space, because I think support means a lot more right now.
The state of the industry has me a little down. It’s depressing! I’m continually worried about finances, being able to make it here in Denver while also having a good quality of life doing things I love. But I’m still here, working away, trying to make a reality. New beginnings are scary, but I know my ability to adapt, learn, and change has always been a strong suit of mine.
New beginnings are coming for sure, I’m seeing things unfold in front of my eyes both personally and professionally. And I’m ready. I’m ready to face new challenges, ready to see what the world has to offer me again and again.
And little breaks like this- checking out a new brewery with a friend and having a few tacos are the little things that keep me enjoying it all. Thank you so much for making great beer, a beautiful taproom, and for being a source of support trying to navigate opening a new business. Yall the real ones ✌🏼

😌Brewers peace of mind😌
It’s been a while since I have given you all an update with how using the PLAATO Pro from has been going for me in the brewery! If you haven’t been following me for long- The PLAATO Pro device is (in a nutshell) this super handy piece of equipment that plugs in directly to your fermentation vessel that works as a fermentation management solution, with a sensor to collect data that inputs directly to a cloud platform where all fermentation insights are made available. The cloud platform is extremely useful to track and compare batches, create alerts, and best of all, save me time and labor by having the ability to look at the status of a beer anywhere in the world in the palm of my hand. Ive been using this device for over two years now and I am happy to report that it saves me time and helps me brew extremely consistent batches. Not only do the creators of this device have an amazing support team, they listen to feedback and update the online tool to better suit our brewing needs. There are so many new features that I can’t wait to share with all of you in the next couple of weeks!
If you’re interested in learning more, click the link in my bio and definitely check them out and stay tuned for more on my personal experience with PLAATO Pro devices. And as always, feel free to message me with any questions ☺️
Sometimes, it feels a little bizarre getting older. I think I’m starting to embrace it - it’s inevitable after all, and I fully believe aging is a privilege not all get to experience. But outside of noticing things like looking in the mirror and not recognizing myself, my metabolism slowing down, my back hurting a little more…I’ve also noticed (what feels like happened overnight) that I’m no longer a new kid to brewing. I’m approaching 9! Years of being a professional brewer. It feels weird when people and brewers come to me for advice or call me up and ask about process or equipment. Or when I show up to a Women’s brew day and I realize only a couple of others and I have been brewing for over 5 years. Maybe it’s gaslighting myself, or maybe because I believe brewing is a field I am always learning in, but I don’t feel like I’m the veteran brewer. I sure as hell don’t know everything. But I’m always happy to lend a helping hand when I’m able to.
I think the real thing that comes with time and age is wisdom. And for me, wisdom has come from mistakes. I’ve made bad beers, I’ve done dumb things in the brewery, I’ve been unsafe at times. But the important thing- and something I’m always proud of- is that I learn from those mistakes. I get better, I try harder, I learn more.
So if I’m giving anything to all you young brewers out there (and really to anyone because this applies to life) is don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Take that risk, be safe, and learn as much as you possibly can. Dust yourself off and try harder. We only have a few years we can do this thing called brewing, and we only have one life to live (as far as I know!) keep on making the best beer you can, and keep on truckin’ 🍻
What a whirlwind of the last two months it’s been! I’ve traveled more in the last two months than I have in the whole year and damn, I’ve absolutely loved it. Between Shanghai, mountains of Tibet, reconnecting with family in Texas, and a stint in Baltimore I’ve made some incredible memories to send out 2023 with a bang.
While I’ve had some significant changes this year in my life, I’m slowly beginning to learn to go with the flow of life and accept that change is inevitable, and sometimes you have to change along with it. I have so many goals for the new year, and I’m happy to say that I’m coming out of 2023 a better and stronger person who is more connected to myself than I’ve been in years and getting back to the things that actually make me happy. 2023 was the year of growth and lessons learned. It was seeing the beer industry take a significant downturn, but still having the burning passion I’ve always had for making great beer. While it’s scary to think about the future, I know that no matter what…I will persevere. And not only survive, but thrive.
I’m going into the holidays especially thankful for my friends and close ones that have been there with me through dark times and celebrate with me in the good. Sometimes love from others, and love for yourself is truly what makes life worth living.
I hope everyone has the ability to see positive in life this holiday, even though the world seems so dim sometimes. Happy holidays friends. 🍺

Here’s a lil pic from Baltimore with a classic 🍺😎
🏔️TIBET🏔️
Appropriately called “The Roof of the Wold” with a rich and unforgiving landscape, deep culture and history, and some of the kindest, most trustworthy people you will ever meet.
I am so thankful to have had the chance of visiting this beautiful place again with the purpose of meeting Tibetan brewers and owners and sharing my knowledge alongside some of my favorite people in the industry. While the focus was craft beer, we were also able to travel to new locations this time around to tour many monasteries, temples, and high mountain caves.
In contrast to last trip, where I was in the midst of some serious life changes - this time around brought questions of the meaning of life, a deep appreciation for a culture that might soon be part of history, and what compassion for others (and yourself) really means. Brought to tears at some points this trip continues to be one of the most moving and life affecting adventures of my life, and I’m beyond thankful for all the things and my career that allowed me to experience it, and now I get to share a little sliver of that beauty with you ✨
Tashi Delek!
Happy international women’s month!
Here are some things NOT to say to women in the beer industry. And yes, all of these comments are real and some we even get on a weekly basis 🤦🏼‍♀️ share with your friends, and don’t be a sexist ass hole. 😊
