Soraya is a Malaysian/German vocalist and DJ based in Berlin, known for high-impact sets that fuse jungle, dubstep, dancehall, hardcore, and techno. Shaped by time in London, her DJ style is rooted in UK soundsystem culture, gritty, rhythmic, and full of weight.
As a vocalist, digging and mixing tunes is part of her creative process, feeding into her writing and giving her sets a genre-spanning, bass-heavy bounce. Soraya is a resident at Berlin’s DEEP MEDi and co-founder of Kontinuum Productions, an independent label and party series spotlighting emerging vocalists and musicians.
