Absolutely LOVE a tipi wedding! My jaw dropped when I saw the views 😍 so beautiful and the perfect place for what was such an incredible day! Photographing a friends wedding is always so special so I can't thank you both enough for asking me!

A little bit about me since it’s been AGES! ❤️
I’m Sophie, a welsh wedding photographer who has been shooting weddings for 12 years this year! I absolutely love my job and I’m so so grateful for the couples and families I get to meet and photograph!
I live with my Husband, James and our springer spaniel, Mollie who you’ll see a lot of!❤️ We got married last year so I now feel like I fully know how overwhelming it all is in the best way!
I’m a HUGE lover of colour, personality & fun at a wedding, I think the day should reflect who you are as a couple and I make sure I capture every detail of it! It’s really hard for me to pin point my work to a particular style, I just know I love to document moments as they happen. 💕
Some little random facts about me:
- I'm always happiest after being on the beach
- obsessed with country music - but then I'm equally as obsessed with Anastasia and Sean Paul
- obsessed with golden hour and sunsets/rises
- always have some sort of cuppa/herbal tea in my hand
- love / hate with the sea, I wanna love it but jaws scarred me
- Been with my husband James for 15 years, married almost 1!
- I speak fluent Welsh, bit rusty now so I must polish it up asap
- I shoot canon, always have probably always will 📸
- love spending quiet season seeing as much of my family & friends as I can as summer gets super busy🩷

Before I re-introduce myself to some lush new followers I've had. I just wanted to talk a little about my style of shooting 🫶🏼 It's so important you choose a photographer who's work you completely love from the way they shoot, what they shoot & how it's all edited 🩷
My approach on a wedding day is super relaxed. It’s really hard for me to pin point my work to a particular style, I just know I love to document moments as they happen. I don’t tend to plan many shots as I love capturing the day as it unfolds naturally.
I’m a HUGE lover of colour, personality & fun at a wedding. I think the day should reflect who you are as a couple and I make sure I capture every tiny detail! (I'm detail obsessed) 🥰
I’m also a HUGE dog lover, so if your dog (or any other pet) is coming to your wedding, I’m already there! 😂❤️
My favourite images from wedding days are always those ones where you, your family and friends are laughing, crying & throwing some questionable dance moves! Those are the ones that make me love what I do. From the big excited cwtches to the emotional quiet moments. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE couple portraits (especially at golden hour), but I don’t spend too long on these. I want you to enjoy your day with your guests too. This was a huge priority at my own wedding! All we need is a good 10-15 minutes to get those lush couple shots!
This is why when it comes to family group shots, if you’re wanting a long list of 20 different variations then i’m probably not the right one for you! That being said, I will always make sure I grab those important group shots of those who mean the world to you, I just don’t like to spend forever doing them, especially with how quick that time goes! 🩷
