Recently, I’ve been working on a series of angel tattoos inspired by sacred imagery from different cultures. In doing so, I found myself arriving at a much more earthly reflection:
To be astonished once again by the beauty of nature may be the greatest gift the higher realms can grant us. We can be the “creative angels” ourselves, without looking too far above for answers, by protecting, nurturing, and creating beauty in the world around us.
I like to believe that certain images emerge when they are needed. Perhaps so many people have chosen to wear these “creative angels” because they answer an unconscious collective longing 🌸
