Founded in 2018 by Gemma Pickerill, Soft Skin Latex is a latex clothing brand exploring the softer side of latex with influences from fetish culture and historical clothing. All garments are handmade in a London studio with an emphasis on high quality craftsmanship.
The accompanying zine published by Village will be released at the opening reception and available in-store and online after the launch event.

“We don’t mass produce and we don’t follow trends,” the Cheshire-born designer explains. In fact, each one of Soft Skin’s pieces – made to order from Pickerill’s London studio – showcase the designer’s unique POV on fetishwear, from rubbery hoods to translucent bow bags, tailored raincoats, and mediaeval ruffle collars.
