In all honesty though, my body has been struggling. I was in a flare up before I left, tried to manage it while I was away, but ultimately I’m still REALLY not feeling well or capable of much rn, may need a couple weeks to get back to normal.
It is such a challenge to continually remind myself that my worth is not determined by my output, what I can do for others, or what I can accomplish. If I’m MIA for a bit, please know that I need to be. And if I’m MIA irl but lookin normal on this page, please know that IG doesn’t tell the whole story.
I’m still processing but I just wanted to share snapshots of the couple days away 🩷

Fortunately I do love
- Being alive and sober and well
- Telling my story unapologetically
- Teaching beadwork as a practice
- Feeling the pride of my late mother and brother as they watch me weave beauty from our pain and joy from our grief
Come bead with me this fall 🍂 In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll be making fringe earrings together—no experience needed!
🧡 We’ll be using a custom orange pattern (designed by me!) and all materials are provided. You’ll leave with your own handmade earrings and the skills to keep creating.

September is my favourite month. While I’m not in school (and let’s be honest, it’s been 10 years since my last first day of school), it’s always a time where I feel like the air is full of possibility. What if it all works out?
This month, my focus is on caring for myself, falling in love with my art practices again, and leaning into my community and relationships in mutually supportive ways.
I am so grateful for the life I have, the skillset I’ve built, and the people who’ve impacted me in big, loving, radical ways.
I hope you have a beautiful month!
