건축가는 자연을 훼손하지 않는 건축은 태초의 인간이 만든 가장 원초적 집의 형태일 것이라는 가정에서 출발했습니다. 이글루와 게르 같은 원형의 집에서 해답을 찾았죠. 하나의 원에서 출발한 설계는 두 개의 원으로 확장되어 서로 만나고 중첩되는 풍부한 공간이 형성됐습니다. 하나는 외부의 하늘을, 다른 하나는 내부에 하늘빛을 받아들이는 공간으로 나뉘죠.
재료의 질감과 색상도 중요한 요소였습니다. 내부는 오래된 흙집처럼 균일한 재료로 마감했는데요. 최소한의 재료만 사용해 빛과 그림자에 집중하기 위해서죠. 외피는 흙으로 만든 베이지색 벽돌로 마감해 시간이 흐르며 주변의 색에 물들어 자연의 일부가 되도록 했습니다.
