“Let’s count our blessings. Their is so much we have to be grateful for. Less is more. God and Family are vital for a joyful life. Joy can be found in the most horrific circumstances if God and Family are alive and in your heart. Giving is better than receiving. And true fulfillment in life comes when you can find purpose greater than yourself.”❤️

I’ve had some time the last few days to reflect on this surreal statement.
It really seems like yesterday I was the little girl peppering with her dad before school, asking him for more reps. Or driving to CBVA tournaments from AZ—>CA to get experience against the big dogs. The Olympic dream was always present in my life. It took me weeks in high school to make my “Olympic-inspired Collage.” It’s in my childhood room, the Olympic Rings and Legends hanging high over my bed. To wake up now and say it’s not a dream but a reality is hard for me to wrap my head around.
I may be Olympics bound, but deep down I’ll always be that little girl that just wanted a good pepper session with her dad before school❤️
