Going through my camera roll, I realized how many hikes Iโve done over the past 6 years that never made it to Instagram. So here we are.
Every Tuesday, Iโll share a trail I loved, would hike again in a heartbeat, or still dream about โ plus a few trail tips along the way. Mostly, this is just your gentle nudge to get outside and hit the trails yourself.
Kicking things off with Felt Creek Trail in Mount Hood National Forest, a hike Iโve only done once, but absolutely want to repeat when the weather lines up right. The reward? Close-up views of Mt. Hood from the top.

Mexico's Yucatรกn Peninsula is home to countless cenotes, and many of them are incredibly popular.
Our goal was simple: find one that isnโt overrun by tour groups and life jackets.
What we could not have imagined and didn't expect: To have an entire cenote all to ourselves for the whole morning.
Moments like this always remind me that it's worth spending more time and researching deeply, traveling independently, and sometimes taking the risk of going somewhere we havenโt already seen a hundred photos of.

It became a habit for me and I always carry a trash bag in my little fanny pack to pick up thing that are in my way. ๐๏ธ
Sometimes I get looks from people who don't really knoe what I'm doing. But I've learned to handle this and understand it as one of the major parts of what I"m doing:
โ To actually show that trash in the wild doesn't go away by itself.
โ It needs to get taken away from someone.
โ With showcasing this I always hope to make people think twice whenever they see trash on their way or even are about to throw something away themselves.
For me as a person who loves being outside and enjoys nature it comes natural to pack in what I've packed out. ๐ฎ
But the most important part is to understand that our goal should be to leave a place BETTER than we found it - no matter if we go hiking, camping or just for a stroll in our neighborhood. ๐ถโโ๏ธ
