We spent days in the woods, surrounded by nature. The energy on set was something special.. light, genuine, and full of that feeling that’s hard to explain but that reminds me why I fell in love with cinema.

Watching this year go by, I saw how I’m growing.. choosing what feels real, choosing people who bring calm and joy.
I remembered how much I need nature, the mountains, the silence and how life feels lighter when moments are shared.
Grateful for the people who have always been there, and for those who gently became part of my days.
As DP, I worked on creating two contrasting visual worlds: one built on intense reds, sharp contrasts and a play between what is seen and what is hidden.
The other shifts into a more paradisiacal atmosphere, shaped by whites, softer key light and a cleaner, more enveloping beauty feel, while still adding touches of harder light.

We chose to use shots with wide-angle lenses close to the characters, allowing the audience to dive into the tense atmosphere experienced by Tommy, our protagonist.
This project, undertaken as one of the final practices at ESCAC, features co-direction of photography by Cristovão Costa and Silvio Malvestio and it is directed by Marta d’Ocon.
