Voor zijn serie kunstwerken ‘Withoos meets Withoos’ heeft Hans Withoos iets zeer bijzonders gedaan. Hans Withoos heeft de geschilderde stillevens en stadsgezichten van zijn beroemde voorvader Matthias Withoos samengevoegd met zijn eigen eigentijdse, surrealistische beelden. ✨️
Withoos gebruikt de symboliek vanuit de zeventiende-eeuwse schilderijen. Hij brengt deze oude werken tot leven door de vissen, bloemen, vogels en modellen toe te voegen.

Vorige week mochten we op Naarden the Art Fair naast vele bekenden ook nieuwe kunstliefhebbers verwelkomen bij onze stand en hen laten kennismaken met onze collectie. Nu maken we de volgende stap en zijn we binnenkort te vinden op Art Karlsruhe in Duitsland, een van de grootste kunstbeurzen van Europa. Zo zetten we onze kunstenaars nog verder op de kaart.
Hoewel er momenteel geen specifieke tentoonstelling is, presenteren we een verfrissende collectie met nieuwe kunstwerken van onder meer Katinka Krijgsman, Chris Gadiot, Tonny de Brouwer en Hans Withoos.
We hebben ook nieuwe namen opgenomen in onze stal van kunstenaars, waaronder Mark Robert Peters die met zijn abstracte schilderijen tal van vragen en gevoelens oproept bij de toeschouwer. Het zijn geen beelden die één, twee, drie te duiden zijn. De fascinerende kleuren en onwaarschijnlijke diepte zetten je op het verkeerde been.
