From produce and flowers to an impromptu stop at a little antique shop, visits to abandoned palazzos for sale in the small towns on the slopes of Etna, and long lunches and wine tastings at Villa Sanro Spirito, Stanza Terrena, where we learned all about Etna’s fertile volcanic soil and tasted some of the island’s best natural wines. That was a fantasric day indeed and I could do it all over right away, as I miss them all, our great team the fantastic group and of course Sicily ❤️😃
Last week was spent in vibrant Sicily, conducting a beautiful spring workshop together with and the most inspiring women! I hardly know where to begin. But here are a few images to start out with, much more to come - have the happiest Friday!☀️❤️
Setting beautiful tables in the garden, under the cherry and apple trees now in bloom, and playing around with colours, props, flowers and light 🌸
It’ll be busy and chaotic in the best possible way… but honestly, my kind of heaven. I'll take you along in stories, if you'd like 🙌🏻🥹
I have a deep love for it; that sharp, tangy taste that can lift both sweet and savoury dishes into something almost heavenly. A strawberry pie with a little bit of rhubarb in it takes it to another level 😋
I have a single rhubarb plant in the island garden, and from now until August it gives in the most generous way, without asking anything in return.
I even placed a drying rack over it in the kitchen garden, so the sheets flutter above the plant in the summer breeze. And it just stands there, as if it enjoys the movement, and keeps on giving!
I really truly love my rhubarb plant, that was all I wanted to say. ☺️
Have a lovely weekend ❤️☀️
For centuries, artists have travelled to Sicily for its light, its colours, and the richness of textures and contrasts - you’ll understand why! 🍋💛
Sicily is a place I know in a way that is difficult to explain without it sounding overly sentimental, but it’s the truth. I’ve been going there for more than 25 years, I have family there, I speak the dialect, I know the small places and corners you don’t just come across, and I dream of living there part time (and of course we'll bring the group to see a few houses for sale 😍).
📍What we do:
We photograph, we film, we eat, we walk through markets and up small streets and into places you wouldn’t find on your own, we visit a winemaker on Etna, we teach food and still life photography and videography, light, texture, colour, composition, and then, during long dinners, we talk about creativity and what it means to build a life around it, about dreams, where we are now and where we want to be in ten years, and everything in between. My favourite conversations and where something quite magical happens!
📍Everything is included, all meals, drinks, escursions, accomodation, materials etc.
📍 When: 19-22 May 2026
📍 Where: Catania, Sicily (workshop venue is a 15 min drive from the airport - so easy)
If you’ve been following along, or if something in you registered it the last time I shared this and then life moved on, this might be for you.
We leave in a month, and we would love to welcome you! ❤️

But I did. Another beautiful spring day in Gothenburg was calling, so after a splendid breakfast I took the tram (still love it, always will), and headed out of the city.
It’s strange how quickly it changes, only a short ferry and you’re suddenly out in the archipelago, with wind, water and small islands passing by.
On the island Vrångö there are no cars, so I was driven around on a cargo moped, which felt completely normal and was a lot of fun!
I walked along the stunning nature trail together with my guide from, had such a delicious lunch at.
The silence and beauty on the island was incredible. White houses, red roofs, quiet paths.
Back in Gothenburg I went to the Gothenburg Art Museum which was amazingly inspiring, both the art collection and the colors. 💙❤️
Dinner was at Poppy. Honestly… it was just very good. Delicious food and a nice atmosphere.
Among the many courses: Pasta with morels & pancetta, cod with truffle, and chicken with mushrooms & XO sauce. Slightly hard to forget.
And then just walking home through the city after another inspiring day.
Goodbye Gothenburg for now. I’ll be back soon! 👋🏻❤️
Be sure to safe this post for your own trip👌🏻

And summer is close - I could feel it yesterday when I was in the garden on the island, hands in the soil again, pruning apple trees, clearing space, getting everything ready.
It won’t be long before the cherry trees are in full bloom. I can still stand in the kitchen and see the sea - but soon it will all soften behind all the cherry blossoms. That will be such a beautiful sight as well! 🌸😍
Have a wonderful Sunday ☀️
If you’ve been dreaming about joining one of these workshops on Møn, maybe this is the year. June 8-11 2026 with a small group of like minded souls.

They call Gothenburg 'Little London', and once you’re here, it actually makes sense: The canals, the architecture, the slightly British feel. But what I always think when I come here is this:
Sweden is so much more than ski trips and remote cabins in the forest.
Gothenburg feels creative, relaxed, beautiful, full of really good places, the best food, and everything is within walking distance. Highly recommended!
Save this for your own trip to Gothenburg 🫶🏻👌🏻

I think I speak for many creatives when I say we’re all a bit uncertain about where this is heading. Will AI take over our work? Will it change everything?
My personal take? It will and shall NEVER replace what we do, work made with heart, soul and real hands, but it can be a tool, one that helps us visualize ideas, build concepts and bring our wildest imaginations to life. But mostly I've learned to understand it to better advice more and more clients that are asking for it.
Take this reel, for example: My imaginary Sicilian farmhouse, a dream that has lived in my mind for so long, haha, I think you know that by now! 😆
I just used AI to bring it to life visually. It's scary how it can be done.
And that’s exactly why I talk about this in our workshops, where we're many creatives gathered, all in the same boat. How can we, as photographers and creatives, use AI instead of fearing it? And should we use it at all? How can it support our creative process rather than replace it, which it never should?
Beacause this is a conversation we all need to have. Let’s figure this out together. 🫶🏻
Happy Sunday from a cloudy and grey Møn. ☁️
PS: One thing everyone needs to remember: Always state when AI is involved! I see so many images every day that are clearly AI-genrated, yet presented as real. 🤦🏼♀️ Transparency matters - especially in a time when thruth and fiction are blending more than ever. ☝🏻
