So here’s the thing. Sometimes, in the book world, you do a big order of stuff directly from a publisher, but then that publisher’s shipping and tracking site doesn’t have up-to-date data, so you freak out about having enough stock for the holiday rush, so you put in a separate order with a different wholesaler that ships more quickly and reliably… and then the first order shows up too.
