This song has been close to my heart since it released, and seeing it receive so much love lately made me come back to it.
While planning my workshops around abhinay, this piece felt right. Because in Kathak, abhinay is not just choreography, it is storytelling, sitting with repetitions, pauses, and truly feeling every moment.
With no props, everything comes alive through nazar, bhaav, and the smallest details. I wanted to explore that here, keeping the character very real and rooted, drawing from my own experiences instead of relying on typical shringar movements.
