Furious winds and swirling snow rose up out of the canyon as I braved the elements to capture this image of Háifoss, Iceland's third highest waterfall (122 metres). After only fifteen minutes at this location, I could no longer feel my fingers. Sometimes, capturing special images in wild locations as a landscape photographer can feel like competitive sport.
