💰 I have one potential money-saving tip for you!
I’ve heard you can save money on an Antarctica cruise by booking at the last minute… extremely last minute. Like you’re already in Ushuaia and you book a few nights before departure kinda thing. So if you have some flexibility, it could be worth giving it a try. There was actually a woman on my trip who did exactly this!
Prices will also vary depending on the company you travel with, but I can absolutely vouch for the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions team. I learned so much and they kept us safe, entertained, and well fed the whole time!

🧃 I know the name sounds kinda ridiculous, but “juice jacking” is a safety concern all travelers should be aware of. The FBI is now warning travelers that hackers are placing malware in public charging stations, and no one wants their data stolen, especially while on vacation.
🔌 The safest way to charge your devices on the go is to use your own charger and plug into an electrical socket. I also travel with a portable and fully charged external battery so I don’t have to bother with outlets or charging stations at all. There are lots of affordable ones available on Amazon!

🌴 2015 - 2017: Moved back to Florida and had no idea what to do with myself. Worked as a substitute teacher, a university study abroad advisor, and a social media coordinator.
👩💻 2017 - 2019: Met the right person who connected me with a job at a travel magazine. Thought I found the holy grail… I did not. Felt grateful for the experience but knew it wasn’t for me.
🇨🇴 2019: Quit my job to move to Colombia with my then-boyfriend, now-fiancé because why not! Worked in social media again and dabbled in travel agency work as well.
