A round of applause to for pulling up in Chicago’s Financial District to deliver the most bomb taco tray ever!
The Steak, Chicken and Fish were all so fresh and extremely flavorful and delicious.
With Cinco de Mayo being around the corner you might want to stop by.
The menu is filled with so many authentic Mexican favorites; tacos, burritos, tortas, burrito bowls, taco salads, house specialties, quick bites, sides, desserts, you name it.
Catering options are also available for any and all occasions.
I had the chance to visit a Chicago restaurant located in the Lakeview neighborhood.
Here you can expect some amazing large portion Asian fusion meals, creative cocktails & sake in a bright, tropical-style setting.
We worked our way through the menu with some pretty awesome selections.

We started off with a couple of delicious When in Romain libations, ritual N/A gin, pomegranate & elderflower.
We ordered two shareables:
🥚 Omelette - La Turn Cheese, Sorrel beurre Blanc, Oetit Salade
🥞 Foie Grois and Pancakes
Seared Foie Gras, Maple Gastrique, Blueberry Pancake, Duck Bacon
Both were extremely tasty. Of course they’ve since changed their menu, however the Foie Grois pancakes are still offered which is wonderful as they were a huge hit.
My daughter ordered the Moroccan Lamb Sandwich - Seared Lamb Belly, Halloumi, Harissa, Pickled Cucumber, Red Onion, Lettuce accompanied by Pimento Dusted Frites.
I ordered from the Prix Fixe Menu and I highly enjoyed my summer salad with fresh peaches, the most delicious duck dish I’ve had and a rewarding fresh berry tart for dessert.
Looking forward to returning for the fall menu options for sure.

Spent this Saturday visiting recently opened in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.
Their menu consists of delicious offerings like Fruit Slushies, Sparkling Lemonades, Ice Teas, Milk Teas, Hot Ones, Sandwiches, Waffle Fries, Waffles and more.
I ordered the following delicious treats:

🍗 Tso - Good Chicken Sandwich, Tso-Good Chicken Sandwich, dipped in a sweet and spicy Tso Good sauce with shredded romaine, fresh tomato and Japanese mayo on a buttered brioche bun.

Apologies for gatekeeping. Just now getting around to sharing a lovely lunch date my sonshine and I had this past April.
We began with a trio of starters before pulling up on the noods. The flatbread was incredibly enjoyable; however the show stopper was the bread pudding dessert hands down.

I love my city, Chicago has such a vast array of incredible ethnic eateries. I was in the mood for some Costa Rican cuisine so I swung by and they never disappoint.
I went with the Tilapia Cosado! If you didn’t know, Casado is the national dish of Costa Rica served with Gallo Pinto, sweet plantains, cabbage, salad and an over-easy egg. My goodness it was so delightful.
I decided on the Iced Horchata Café for my beverage; since I don’t like to be disrespectful I had to oblige and order a slice of Caribbean Rum cake for dessert.
I don’t think you understand, I’m obsessed!

If you haven’t figured it out by now I’m a big proponent of supporting Chicago local restaurants. So let me tell you how I went to a few days ago and I was so impressed with how tasty their empanadas were that I had to pay them another visit yesterday.
This time around I got a box of their bake at home empanadas and they are so legit. I got the following four flavors:

Curry Chicken 🍗
They have a variety of 15 flavors, savory and sweet including vegetarian options. I’m telling you they’re yummy anytime of the day. You can fill up on them for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
If you’re in Chicago, they have 5 convenient locations. Both pickup and delivery available in addition to catering and food truck options.
Not a Chicagoan no problem, they have a downtown Houston, Texas location as well or checkout to get you, your family or friends a box of these delicious empanadas.
