1914 yılında Uşak Karahallı’da dünyaya gelen birinci kuşak kurucumuz Mustafa Uçar…
1934’te askerlik için geldiği İstanbul’da, Sultanhamam çarşısında kendi dokuduğu kumaşların satıldığını görür.
Ve bu keşif, bir ömür sürecek yolculuğun başlangıcı olur.
1938’de pazarlamaya başlar, 1940 yılında ise Büyük Yeni Han – Sultanhamam’daki dükkânıyla Serva Kumaş’ın temellerini atar.
O günden bu yana, tam 85 yıldır…
Kara tezgâhlarda tülbent, mermersahi, süt bezi, kaput bezi, Şile bezi ve daha nice doğal kumaşlar, ilk günkü titizlik ve özenle üretilmeye devam ediyor.
Ve bu kumaşlar hâlâ Anadolu’ya ambarlarla sevk ediliyor.
İkinci kuşak, Sultanhamam’da bayrağı gururla taşımayı sürdürüyor.
