Never share locations on social media

That includes coordinates, geotags, pins, etc. Just say “Everglades” or “Florida”

Sure, you can share what you saw or cool animals, but accounts that share exact locations are up there with reckless developers.

Enough of it has already been put online, and it’s not worth some likes to ruin the State.

Not only are places now overrun, but it only takes one person to damage or harm the spot.

GATEKEEP WILD FLORIDA

Wait for it….

If you love something, you will defend it

Especially when Florida and Wild Florida is being ruined each day.

5 or 10 or 15 years ago would have been a much better time to mobilize against all of this, but that has passed. And now it’s even more imperative.

For every measure we enjoy Florida, we should dedicate to defending it civically, by media, by electoral mobilization, and growing grassroots efforts.

RUN FOR OFFICE or help find true Floridians to serve.

HELP ORGANIZE efforts by joining to help inform and educate voters about the best candidates

At Broward Blueprint, last year was about showing up — and fighting back.

We spent the year sounding the alarm on one of the most dangerous trends facing South Florida: 99-year leases of public beachfront land to private developers. Land that belongs to the people. Land that should never be quietly handed away.

First, it was Bahia Mar on Fort Lauderdale Beach, where a plan surfaced to give up public beach basketball courts for private development. Residents pushed back. We organized. We showed up. We made noise — and yes, we made memes. And it worked. The people stood up, meetings were held, and the plan was stopped. That was a real victory for the public.

Now, the fight has moved to Hollywood Beach.

For over a year, residents have been fighting to save the 1301 Ocean Drive Community Center, public park land that’s being pushed toward a 27-story private condo tower under a 99-year lease. We’ve done everything citizens are supposed to do: posted videos, signed petitions, showed up at meetings, went on the news, and partnered with conservationists. The message has been clear — the people do not want this.

And now we’re at the final moment.

This decision is heading to the Broward County Commission — our last line of defense. We are asking them to stand with residents, not special interests. To protect Hollywood Beach. To stop another giveaway of public land.

Looking ahead, the solution is clear: any public land giveaway must go to the voters. No more backroom 99-year leases. No more permanent deals made without public consent. These lands belong to all of us.

We claimed a victory in Fort Lauderdale.
Now we keep fighting for Hollywood.

Because in the end, public land should serve the public — and we still believe that good can win out over greed.
⚠️The Everglades will see another development

Last night, your Collier County Commissioners voted to continue the process for the development (named Sabal Palm), but not for the initially planned 423 homes.

(If you were at the meeting please DM if you’d like to add anything)

Countless locals spoke and made it clear where Floridians stand, which pushed the developer and the. Commissioners to admit 423 would be too much. But this is still not good!

This site is a mix of protected wild and rural land. They want to remove and reezone form conservation an agricultural designations to allow for houses.

The claim of the developer to build “affordable housing” does not seem true in any sense.

AND FURTHER: This area had been a part of a 20+ year program in Collier for fringe conservation land. Meaning it was meant to be protected and serve as a buffer from development, especially with Everglades proximity.

The full meeting can be viewed on YouTube via Collier TV.

An epic time for Wild Florida 🍻

Met and chatted with tons of great locals up in Fort Pierce who are passionate about saving wild Florida and electing true Floridians!

A great meet and greet with held at

And it was great to finally connect with the

There is a renewed wave of optimism and mobilization to save Florida and we must keep it growing!

The beach is not the same at night

And no I didn’t want to stick around and wait for the sea lice to crawl everywhere.

This sea hare was inundated and covered in them.

They jumped off once I put him in the water.

I am a farmer who supports the arts! The arts feed the soul, farms nourish our bodies. Both are important to society.

This is why my family’s farm is not only the oldest organic farm in Florida, and one of the first Regenerative Organic Certified farms in the state, but it’s also an event venue with one of the largest collections of murals in the area. We have over 10 murals by and one by - come see them anytime - and remember to support local agriculture!
Here’s how mobilizing all of us could decide any election in Florida

Is it far-fetched? Think about how many residents, between Florida-born, longtime residents, or people who moved here just 10 years ago are tired of what’s going on.

(Comment ACTION to get more info)

The reckless land development of our wild areas and agricultural areas. The huge amount of turncoat Florida politicians who will pass SB180 and others to limit our free speech and local determination “home rule” to protect where we live. And how about all the new builds that are increasing in price, aren’t the best quality, and lead to increased flooding?

And it continues… until we are all active.

BREAKING: Not Left or Right, Just Wild

Florida is amid a turning point, where the issue of reckless wild land development is becoming number one. Numero uno.

“We can’t keep begging people in office to protect Florida, we must replace them” Thank you and 🐊

(Also included clips from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting in May and from two videos that show Wild Florida’s peril.)

How is this wild land development effecting Florida you may ask?

1. Abridging liberty and freedom of residents and local areas to decide matters in their city, town, or county

2. Polticial derelict where our officials are in bed with wild land developers

3. The loss of land for native flora and fauna

4. Wild land loss leads to greater ride tide, manatee deaths by sewage mistreatment, declining water quality, and more

5. Impediment to hunting, fishing, diving, hiking, and other outdoor recreation

Should we keep begging politicians to act according to the duties and responsibilities they were elected to carry out? NO!

It’s time for an overwhelming voice at the ballot box and through public sentiment.

We need a wild & free Florida not one of ghost builds, out priced locals, or our wilds paved.

The man who’s re-discovered countless extinct animals and the awesome team of The Wild Times Podcast!

A blast to meet and chat with them 👍

Conservation and animals are expanding fields that are becoming cooler, more impactful, and more crucial.

When I started my deep dive into conservation and re-wilding, I came across books about mammoth cloning, rhino horn cutting, and I’d say most importantly, Forrest’s book, Still Alive.

Unfortunately, someone was “busy” today…
