Looking forward to a lovely getaway at a gorgeous resort, classes with, knitting by the pool, dinner on a catamaran, a visit to a fabulous park while staying at the glorious Parador Nature Reserve and Spa!! I am told the flora and fauna around the hotel itself is amazing!

Today was my last day with the Canadian Public Service, which I joined in 1998, thanks to my friend Paul’s suggestion that I apply for a job with the Public Service Commission in Montreal and that was just the beginning!!
I have made lifelong friends, had fun and many a challenge!! And I am so grateful for the people who saw skills/talent/gifts in me I didn’t know I had, who put me in positions of leadership where I learned so much about people and myself. I hope I have been able to pass on the same encouragement I have received to those I have worked with.
I’ve always loved working until one day it just didn’t seem like the right thing anymore for the stage I am in.
I keep being reminded of that Dr Seuss book “Oh The Places You Will Go” and wondering what wonderful adventures will I be embarking on and, Oh, am I ever excited to see where I will go!!
