I’m running two spring ski touring trips to northern Iceland’s Troll Peninsula, and until now both were fully booked. A recent change means 2 spaces are now available on the April 30 – May 8 trip.
Spring in the Troll Peninsula means fun, well-connected terrain, smooth corn turns, the potential for big vertical, and lines that start in alpine terrain and finish toward the sea. With a flexible, weather-savvy plan, we'll choose the best objectives each day, whether that’s a classic couloir or a wide-open coastal bowl.
We’re based near Dalvík, out of a private seaside farmhouse with a geothermal hot pool and an excellent espresso machine. The team for the week will be Nicoline, Rich, and me.
