I’m seated in a booth with my monstrous friend. He loved this photo so much. Honestly if anyone can make an Applebee’s family booth look like a toddler’s high chair it’s him. He wanted to post this picture so bad.
I told him,
“Don’t post it today. I need to get my shit together first.”
So here we are about 8 months later and 40 lbs down.
This post is for everyone who saw that picture and felt something.
Sometimes a single image hits harder than words ever could.
A hot pan will burn you.
And this photo was the moment I finally took my hand off the pan.
Nature’s digital way of saying, “Enough.”
Did I go home and feel bad about myself?
Oh yeah. For a little bit.
Yes this was embarrassing for me. I coach. This is what I do for a living. I had been taking such good care of my clients that I forgot to take care of myself.
Ironically fixing that made me a better coach.
But feeling bad isn’t action.
And action is exactly what changed everything.
I ended up getting a separate gym membership from where I worked. Somewhere I knew nobody. So I could actually take care of myself instead of standing on the gym floor talking for hours. If you know you know.
If a picture ever made you uncomfortable don’t waste it.
Use it.
That discomfort might be the thing that saves you.
So here we are Craig almost a year later. You finally get to post this picture. You looking HUUGE and me looking huge.
Swipe right to see the transformation. #40lbs down
And it’s definitely not “just eat a burger and fries the night before.”
That approach is a half-court shot at the buzzer 🎯
Sometimes it goes in.
Most of the time? You miss… and the stage shows it.

Improvement season…let’s see how we did.
Weight ⬆️ ~4 lbs
Based on how most of society gauges physique improvements - 👎
Good thing weight is no longer my most important KPI 😜💯
Lean Body Mass (aka muscle 💪) ⬆️ ~7 lbs
Now that’s what I’m talking about! THAT is the goal of a successful improvement season!
Body fat ⬇️ 2 lbs
Ok now THIS is where the magic happens!
Losing body fat while increasing muscle mass is really what competitive bodybuilding is all about!
And guess what, that’s really the key to building ANY strong, healthy beautiful body! 😉 (yes I mean YOU!)
Now that we have the metrics out of the way (which, oh by the way, coach only looks at AFTER he looks at my check in photos)…
Things we are looking to improve include:
✅ Balance and symmetry - Shoulders/back to Glutes/lower body. Remember, in #bikinibodybuilding we are looking for an X frame.
✅ Waist tightness - tiny waist makes that X more pronounced.
✅ Muscle fullness - Not too soft but not too hard either.
✅ Glute roundness - THIS is really the BIG goal for me.
To the untrained, or uneducated, eye, these photos may not look THAT different. But now that you know what to look for, what do you think? Do you see it? 👀😍
Now that we have improved our foundation, we will start the sculpting phase. We call this “prep”. Deep breath…#wegotthis💪
*Metrics based on the inline body scanner
End of my long off-season —
which really isn’t “off” at all.
Off the stage, yes… but still very on.
Still improving — not just my physique,
but my heart and my soul too. 🙏💕
Going into 2026 more rooted.
More grounded.
And hopefully more 🍑 right coach? 😜

This year didn’t just change my body. It brought me back to me- and I closed out the year stepping on the NPC stage again, reclaiming a passion, a fire, and a version of myself I thought might be gone for good.
The real win? My kids got to watch their mom grind for something that mattered — to see discipline over comfort, perseverance over excuses, and belief when quitting would’ve been easier. I hope they carry that lesson with them for life.
My husband got to witness it too. He saw the woman he fell in love with — the driven, relentless version of me he hadn’t seen in years. On the hardest days, his belief in my goals never wavered, even when mine did. None of this happens without his love, patience, and unwavering support. I am forever grateful for a man who believed in me, and pushed me to continue to believe in myself again.
And to my incredible coach — thank you. Thank you for believing in me when I questioned myself, for pushing me when it would’ve been easier to stay comfortable. Your mentorship lit the fire to compete again, and I will forever be grateful for your guidance and belief.
To every mom waiting for the “right time”… There is no perfect moment. Life will always be busy. You will always be needed. Start anyway. Start tired. Start scared. Start imperfect. Do it for you. Do it for the woman you’re becoming.
Anything is possible with a plan, relentless focus, and the courage to refuse to quit.
As I step into 2026, it will continue to be a year of growth, goals, and leveling up — no shrinking, no settling, no playing small.
Here’s to what’s next. 🔥💪🏼
#newyear #momstrong #fitfam #npc #fire
That’s why you became strong. 💪🔥
Merry Christmas! And thank you to my fellow members for letting me be me! 😜🎄
This was one hell of a fun collaboration. Tim and I started together right after the. I got to share Tim with “The Plaid Punisher” for his training, and I was brought in as “The Macro Marshal,” making sure his meal plans were nice and easy for his travel and commutes to work.
USA’s is hands-down one of my favorite men’s shows. Weigh-ins Thursday meant we had two full days to load (no reason for anyone to be flat) come show day. I had carbs, water, and just the right amount of salt in my holster and ready. A little tweak here, a little pinch there just enough to bring out full, tight, paper-thin muscle without spilling.
Tim got crazy easy pumps backstage while the competition dried out and disappeared in the dust. 🏆🔥.
Love the brotherhood I share with these guys!

Mind, body, soul. It feels slow. Tedious at times.
But when you hit one of those checkpoints, it makes it all worth it.
The grind. The small wins. The behind the scenes no one sees.
Coaching these two. Walking through the ups and downs with them. It’s been something special.
Edge of my seat, waiting to hear their numbers called and crowned, knowing what’s about to happen. Still feels just as powerful as the first time.
Welcome NEW IFBB PROS.
I love this. More soon.
