🏴 Current Year 10 pupil Lucia has been selected to represent Scotland in the U18 International Mountain Running Cup, next month in Italy. Lucia will be 1 of over 120 athletes from 16 nations tackling the tough mountain terrain in Gagliano del Capo, known for its steep coastal trails, tricky technical sections and panoramic views over the Adriatic Sea.
🇺🇸 Old Sedberghian and World Record Holder has written her name into the record books again, setting a new course record for the 300 mile Speed Project event from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Imo completed the gruelling 500km route in 77 hours 54 minutes (a new Women’s course record by just under 5 hours). 📸
⛰️ Old Sedberghians Sam Fisher and Ben Van Dijk have helped rewrite mountaineering history as part of the seven-person Fellkour Squad, which has broken a 33-year-old record for summiting all 282 Munros of Scotland in a relay challenge, in a remarkable time of 10 days, 18 hours and 16 minutes – eclipsing the previous record by over 24 hours.

Robin joins us with extensive experience across leading UK boarding schools and currently serves as Deputy Rector at Dollar Academy. With a strong background in pastoral leadership, academic development and whole-person education, he brings warmth, integrity and a clear vision that aligns perfectly with Sedbergh’s values.
