A lot has happened during the process: there was high and lows, the pandemic, first baby, broken heel + rehab, hold break, an eclipse, etc. After seeing some progress right before winter I was waiting patiently for the snow to melt down with this line always in mind. π₯·
I had a few sessions this spring and seeing the temps going up recently I knew the good temps on this day needed to be my shot at it.
It took a lot more work than any other climb I have done at this grade and it is by far my longest project, I canβt even count the number of sessions I had on it. I feels weird but oh so good to finally get it done!
My friend made the FA in 2017 and got the 2nd on his visit for the Blocshop Open in 2018. Thanks to Yves for putting up the first ascent of such an amazing test piece and for developping the area.
