I am doing great, still in Germany, and have been busy with grad school, finishing next spring with my HCI program π Besides that, learning Chinese and French.
I havenβt been wandering as much as before because itβs just been very busy with real life. I still travel and take photos, but they just stay in my camera roll.
This one I found whilst scrolling. Itβs an autumn πΈ but with Germany finally catching up to summer (itβs been raining and sometimes cold the last few weeks), I am again thinking of cooler days. π in general is my favourite time of year. Hope you enjoy the Amsterdam vibe.

I admire good character, strong work ethic, and solid values. I also do want a strong economy and a good border plan. To me, being part of a team means working together on issues, even when our opinions differ, and not quick to name call. There is a lot of things that I donβt respect in Trump but his disrespect for McCain and those whoβs served in the military is appalling. I canβt vote for somebody I donβt respect and I cannot forget Jan 6.

Aachen was originally a Roman spa called Aquisgranum. Between 936 and the 16th century, 30+ German emperors and kings were crowned here. From 1560 on, the coronation site moved to Frankfurt.
This photo is a small corner of the Rathaus/town hall. Originally built in the first part of the 14th century and since then, different parts have been rebuilt due to fire and war.
Whilst I donβt think itβs too often mentioned in peopleβs visit Germany itinerary, Aachen in my humble opinion is a must visit.

Do you go through your photos regularly?
Anyhow, I have this want. To write a bit more than I do here on IG. I love reading and mostly I read murder mysteries or mysteries in general and historical fiction the likes Agatha Christie, Kate Morton, and Phillipa Gregory. But, I am not a great writer - my words are that exciting, descriptive, or gripping in comparison to authors I read. Despite this, I really want to give it a go, even if itβs just for the process of writing.
Anybody who is a writer, any tips, or a workshop/course that you recommend to improve oneβs storytelling skills? Exercises I need to do?
I know ow there is Google, or ChatGPT even, but if you have any recommendation on where to start, itβll be much appreciated.
As I am nearing retirement, I feel like I need to find some interest that will keep me occupied through the days. I adore travelling and photography, also making bread, but I canβt do that all the time ya know π

A little wander and picnic with the family last Motherβs Day weekend. The weather was a bit warm and we were there mid-day so the hike was limited to as high as this spot.
Miss P, as you can see from the video, was most enthralled. PS, I hope you donβt mind her popping into my feed now and then, sheβs too precious.
The last image is just a few into a restaurant courtyard. We had drinks there earlier and there was live music also. Great all around vibe.
Itβs been somewhat a hectic week. Nothing major happening but it seemed like there was always something to do on a daily and didnβt get a chance to sit down and edit photos until now.
