You will need to come into the store to purchase - phone the store tomorrow (Thursday 8 January) and Friday (9 January) 10am-4pm to check we are open, we may shut due to bad weather. Bring your mending pile, hand sewing or small projects and enjoy some mindful time with other stitchers.
Expert help is on hand if you get stuck from Emma Garry, who is an online pattern designer with a cute shop in Ilkley where for 11 years she has been selling her favourite fabrics, patterns and teaching people to sew and make their own clothes. Previously a graphic designer working with major brands her passion has always been textiles and prints.
Our café will be open serving hot and cold drinks and there will be the rest of SCRAP to explore.

Join Emma Garry (me) on Sat 24th Jan 2pm to 3.30pm to explore sustainable sewing and zero waste patterns. In this talk Emma will explore sustainable pattern making and sewing, with basic tips to make patterns fit and cloth drape for all body shapes.
Emma has been involved in the design and textile business for 36 years she also runs her own business, Eme Cloth & Yarn, in Ilkley. She teaches dressmaking and pattern drafting and has a her own range of sewing and dressmaking patterns.
