アメリカでも人気のCB250/300Rベースのミニモトコンバージョンは、CB250RをベースにGROM足周りスワップにて小径化(純正17から12、13インチへ)、ミニモトとしちゃうアホなカスタムですが笑 不思議な事に？違和感無くミニモトっぽくなっちゃうのは驚きですよね。とは言えフレームほか主要コンポーネントは高剛性な軽二輪規格なので、高速道路も安心して走れちゃったりとGROMクラスと比較してアドバンテージも充分にあります。
ブルーの車体はSCRクルー 、奥のティールは の製作ですが、ベースは同じなれどホイールが13インチと12インチだったりで雰囲気の異なる仕上がりになっているのも面白いですよね。ちなみセリザワの車体はウチのスワップGROMとほぼ同じスペックのエンジンを積んでいるのですが、乗り比べると全く違う動きするの楽しいです！
CB250RベースのGROM脚スワップやGROMベースのCB250モータースワップ(なんかややこしいな笑)いずれもフツーじゃない楽しさ&格好良さ！あるので、ありきたりなミニモトでは満足出来ないカスタムジャンキーな方、ウチだったり さんまでお問い合わせ下さいね😎

先日のハイギアードファイナルに続き、今回はPCXモーター用ビッグスロットルボディのご紹介です。
ハイギアと同じくYuminashi製のこちらのスロットボディは31mm内径となっており、JF28型の24mm、KF12型の26mmと比較して大幅な大径化によるパフォーマンスアップが可能となります。JF28(ESP)、KF12型へのマッチングは確認済み、取り付けにあたり少し加工が必要ですが、付属のインシュレーターにて問題無く運用可能です。
そして肝心の効果はと言うと、梅雨の晴れ間を狙った実走行にてバッチリと実感！スロットル開け始めから明らかなレスポンスアップとトルクアップを体感できました。感覚的にですがトルクは1割ほど増した感があり、最高速度への到達時間は確実に短縮となりましたね。

以前にSCRにて製作したDax125ですが、現在新たなオーナーさんの元で元気にしています。有難い事に以降もアップデートのご依頼を頂いており、今回は新たにバックステップ化にてお預かりさせて頂きました。
本来はレースウェイやワインディングにてのアタック時のバンクアングル増大に用いられるバックステップですが、こちらのDaxの様にハードなローダウンを施した車両でありがちなステップの路面への干渉、またシフトチェンジ時につま先が地面に擦ってしまうといった状況の改善にも効果を発揮します。そしてなんと言ってもアルミビレットのステップ周りの格好良さ！大事ですよね笑
チョイスしたのはアメリカのミニモトシーンでも人気のメイドインジャパン"OVER"製、流石の精度と良フィッティングでステップ自体は何の問題も無く完了ですが、ポジションが変わった事により脚がサイレンサーに当たってしまい... 結果エキパイを100mmほど後方へ延長、ヒートガードがちょうど脚の位置に来る様にバックさせました。バランス的にどうかなとも思いましたが、絶妙なテールエンド位置は違和感無くバッチリ仕上がりましたね。
バックステップはこちらのOVERの様な国産ブランドはもちろん、USDM雰囲気マシマシなアメリカメイドの物もお取り寄せ可能です。気になる方はお問い合わせ下さいね😎

前から気になってた和製 Demolition Derby "破壊王" SCR組でギャラリーしてきました。競技内容はもちろんのこと、参加車輌の仕上がりまで悪ノリを絵に描いて額に入れた様なフザケっぷりで笑 まさに不良...じゃないや大人の遊びですな。サイコーでした！

Chimera Engineering "DRAGGER" 12×4 / 12×5 Set for Dax125
Chimera製の3ピースホイール "ドラッガー" デザインをDax125用として12×4フロント/12×5リアサイズにて、同じくChimera製前後ハブとShinkoホワイトウォールタイヤもセットにてオーダー頂きました。こちらのサイズはDax125、Monkey125、そしてJC92型以降のGROMに無加工ボルトオンにて装着可能な最大サイズとなり、もちろん車体側の加工は無し、純正ホイールスペーサーカラーのままでOKです。上記車種のリアは最大で6インチ幅まで入りますが、前後スプロケットやリアブレーキ、リアホイールのオフセットが必要となかなかの手数になっちゃうので、手軽に装着可能なこのサイズはかなりオススメですね😎

去年の石毛めぐ広島ツアアの際に偶然お見かけして、CX3あまりのキマり具合に思わず追いかけて声掛けちゃった(キモいな笑) さんがスタッフとして参加される が9月26日に和歌山県にて開催されます。なんと白浜空港の旧滑走路！というとんでもないロケーションにて行われるこちらのイベント、今年からはミニモーターサイクルエントリーが試験的に導入されると言うことで、フライヤーの画像提供にて協力させて頂きました。当日は仙台kdayとの被りでSCRとしては残念ながら参加できませんが、お近くのスクーター、ミニモーターサイクルオーナーさんは是非ともチェックしてみて下さいね！これは絶対にカッコ良い展示になる予感...

折角なのであらためて、同ホイールを動画にてご紹介です。こうして見るとセンターディスクの厚み、質感も良く分かりますよね。タイヤサイズはフロント110/70-12、リアは130/70-12の組み合わせですので、フィットメントの参考にもして下さい。
価格的には1ピースホイールが確かにリーズナブルなのですが、やはり3ピースのデザイン性、重厚感は格別です。ワイドホイールご検討の方は是非ともトライしてみて下さいね😎
