I’ve been so inspired watching artists like my girl, Victoria Monét, get their flowers. Watching the world make room for artists who can SING, DANCE, WRITE, PERFORM, and command a stage in their own unique way. It feels like we’re ushering in a new era where we don’t have to put ourselves in one box to be understood.
And as a BIG man who loves to move his body? Whew. There’s something liberating about taking up space unapologetically. About letting your body be an instrument, too. About realizing that you don’t have to look a certain way to move with intention, sensuality, freedom, or joy.
My body deserves to dance just as much as my voice deserves to sing.
The GRANDEUR album is me embracing every gift I’ve been given, including the ones I’ve kept a little quieter. It’s about surrendering to the fullness of who I am instead of editing myself to fit somebody else’s expectations.

I moved to Costa Rica in 2021 and have been building a life out here that I love.
Going back to LA hit me harder than I expected. I walked into rooms full of people I love, some of whom I hadn’t seen in much longer than those few years. Embracing the fact that taking a break for your mental health isn’t abandoning anyone. Sometimes you need the distance to come back whole.
I went back for a good friend’s wedding, and it meant more than I expected. Though we hadn’t talked in quite some time, I made it a point to be there. For him. For one of the biggest moments of his life. We sat down, mended things, and felt the love that was still there.
And that felt good.
Coming from Costa Rica, I’m reminded that Los Angeles will always be a second home to me. As my favorite people will always be my favorite people.
