It’s been a busy year for all the team here at the Scottish Textiles Showcase. We have enjoyed getting to know our customers and discovering new suppliers whose beautiful pieces adorn our shelves. We are proud to see British wool products continue to generate interest and now take centre stage in our Edinburgh store.
We have just said a fond farewell to Julie who is heading off to the US to continue her weaving work over there. Meanwhile we are delighted to welcome Aimee who has moved down from Dingwall in the far north of Scotland to join our team.
Here’s looking forward to 2026 and all that it may bring.

A big thank you to the organisers Alison, Di, Susan for inviting us to participate in this inaugural knitting event in Fife where so much is happening in the world of wool, craft and farming. Having the sheep, goats and alpacas on site alongside the end product really helped to tell the story of the supply chain.
This was a great opportunity to catch up with suppliers and spread the word about the work we do at. Here’s to another year!
