5 whole months.
The first birthday without you, feels heavy on my chest. Nothing would have ever prepared me for this kind of grief. Which⦠desperately makes me want to believe in a world outside this 3D.
Having to accept this new present, go on about my life, itβs been fucking challenging. The toughest thing to endure.
Everyday I cry tears of joy, with happy heartfelt memories followed by sadness with a touch of anger at life. The biggest rollercoaster ride, and what a ride.
My heart is broken. I finally understand what it is to have a broken heartβ¦ And to carry thisβ¦ Feeling? Hurt? β¦This broken pieces everydayβ¦ hm!! I tell myself itβs not my reality. It canβt be.
Iβm failing to show up to people as I used to, but I need to be in this fragile bubble for now. Quiet.
But donβt worry Mum, you have raised two very strong women, who are surrounded by incredible loving human beings. And we will be ok.
Letβs not forget, the two most amazing little people that always ask for their vovΓ³. When their mum said, you are now a Star in the sky, both quickly wanted to be a Star too just like grandma. To be next to you.
