This one carried a little extra meaning for me. We photographed Jonathan’s sister’s wedding, so returning for another chapter in the same family is something I never take for granted. That’s the journey I think about constantly. Not building a portfolio. Building work that lasts long enough for a family to come back to it... wedding after wedding, sibling after sibling.
And this day gave us so much to work with.
The design was extraordinary. Green drapes framing the space, florals by that carried the palette through every corner of the rooftop... lush, layered, intentional. Green and white against the skyline. The kind of design vision that makes every frame feel editorial without even trying.
And holding it all together was. A Knicks championship parade taking over lower Manhattan. Major changes landing a week before the wedding. Getting ready relocated entirely to the venue. Any one of those could have shaken the day. Sara handled all of them so gracefully that if you were a guest, you’d never know a single thing had changed. That’s the mark of a truly great planner… they absorb the chaos so the couple never feels it.
Zoe and Jonathan were surrounded by nearly three hundred people who love them, under a chuppah with the city behind them, and the night never slowed down.
Another chapter with a family whose celebrations I’ve been honored to capture. This is the work I want to be doing forever.

The heat that day was record-breaking. The kind that sits on you and doesn't move. And none of it mattered, because Alice and Sheryl Cooper were standing in front of the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix saying I do for the second time, and the room was full of people who had traveled from everywhere to watch it happen.
Later, under the moonlight, with candles flickering and a stage built just for the night, they had their first dance to a live performance of "This I Swear Is True."
