And for those of you new to our page, welcome! Sarah Shepard Gallery was founded in 2018 by art world professional Sarah Shepard. Sarah's background includes fifteen years in the auction world in New York and San Francisco markets, as well as a number of business development roles.
As a proud part of the San Francisco Bay Area’s arts community, we celebrate emerging and established contemporary artists with practices local to Northern California and across the nation. We believe in the power that art can bring to our lives and homes, and are thrilled to continue sharing impactful art with you.

We’re located on the western side of the Marin Country Mart, around the corner from Outerknown and Veronica Beard. Some of you may remember our location on the other side of the, but we relocated into a beautiful new space in 2023. Look for the big “Sarah Shepard” sign on the front of the building. We have ample parking, and are a short walk from the Larkspur Ferry Terminal!
