A dream come true to have clenched an Olympic spot and a silver medal at the Pan Am Games.
I went into this event with the goal of being in the moment and enjoying being at the games because they are an incredible event and experience to be apart of. Taking the event heat by heat and preparing myself mentally and physically as best I could. I had lots of nerves before every heat but I also felt so much trust in my ability, preparation, and that what was meant to happened for me would. I’m proud of my surfing, my effort and my preparation. I truly put my all into every moment of this trip and making one of my biggest dreams come true feels incredible.
I am so excited to have this Olympic spot provisionally qualified and to have this opportunity to continue learning and growing as a person and athlete. I am so grateful for my family, my team and all the wonderful people in my life that support me and make this moment even better. So many people have helped make this possible ❤️
