A year that challenged my body, but fueled my drive.
It started with an ankle injury, followed by my back, knee and finished with my elbow. Setbacks that slowed me down, and ended my season early. But I refuse to be defined by injuries. Instead, I choose to highlight what this year gave me: strength, perspective and moments I’ll carry with pride.

Winter training is here, and I’m rebuilding the smart way. 2026 will feel like me again - stronger, smarter, ready.

I wake up at 6 AM, get ready in the quiet Bali morning, and make my way to my 7 AM CrossFit class. One hour to push myself, clear my head, and start the day strong. After training, I shower and head to a little breakfast spot to refuel before the workday begins.
These slow-but-strong mornings are where I find my balance; between moving my body, taking care of myself, and starting the day with a clear mind.
This is my Life in Between. ✨🌞
The first two weeks I worked in the store with my mom: full days, full focus and then I flew to Bali for a solo buying trip. Not just for the shop, but also for myself… to rehab, reset, and get back into a good vibe with my body.
Just two weeks out of my brace and already rebuilding strength and mobility every day. And honestly? The progress has been massive.
Choosing yourself hits different.
November was healing, discipline, growth and gaining a whole lot of trust in the process. ♡

Started strong with CrossFit + an ice bath, spent the day chasing suppliers on the scooter, ended it with a pool dip and nice dinner.

After winning Boat Europeans 3 weeks ago, this makes it all even crazier. I can’t put into words how I feel, it’s like I’m living in a dream! This is something I’ve been chasing for so long, and it’s finally mine!! 💥🌍
I DID IT, again, but 10 years later!! So much has happened in those 10 years, setbacks, surgeries on both shoulders. I promised myself I wouldn’t stop fighting until the title was mine again.
This past year, I pushed harder than ever to come back from my last surgery, hard work paid off! Not making it straight to finals and having to ride LCQ’s wasn’t the best start. All the support from everyone rooting for me during the event made me feel so loved and confident, something I’ve never really felt before! Thank you!! 🙏🏼💖

I won the Europeans! 🏆
After not competing for 5 years, this is such a sweet way to make my reentry into the sport. Overcoming another shoulder surgery and feeling stronger than ever these past two weeks made this victory even sweeter.
As the only rider from the Netherlands, I didn’t feel alone for a second. I’ve missed the European boat wakeboarding community, and being back felt incredible. I’m overwhelmed by all the messages I’ve received, thank you so much for the love!
