La construcción y la deconstrucción de un paisaje son parte fundamental de esta muestra de Sandra De León Torres, sus elementos van transformándose gradualmente en una suerte de horizonte hecho de esculturas cuyo volumen va borrándose hasta transformarse en manchas o en líneas. Entre sus referencias se encuentra el cuento "Las Ruinas Circulares" de Jorge Luis Borges, que nos acerca al sueño de un hombre que cada noche sueña que crea a otra persona que habita al centro de unos montículos que lo terminan encerrando dentro de un círculo, pero al mismo tiempo el soñador, cobra conciencia de que está siendo soñado por otro ser que lo borrará cuando despierte.

Partiendo de la referencia que Sandra hace de la deconstrucción como eje del pensamiento derridiano, viene a mi memoria un ejercicio de meditación que alguna vez me sugirió un maestro budista y que consistía en imaginar un jardín, imaginar un árbol, imaginar las flores, imaginar el cielo, imaginar el sol y luego en nuestra mente ir borrando cada una de esas cosas: borrar el árbol, borrar las flores, borrar el cielo y borrar el sol, hasta dejar una nada consciente, para lograr comprender en realidad lo que va quedando de nosotros: un leve trazo de tierra o ceniza, pues, ¿qué es el tiempo sino memoria inexacta y olvido?
