We spent the day at Strathaven Park (George Allan Park, Glasgow Rd, Strathaven ML10 6LZ) and the kids had the BEST time riding the miniature railway, exploring the park and enjoying a picnic together ☀️
The railway has been running since 1949 and is fully operated by amazing volunteers who keep it going through visitor donations 👏🏼
There’s honestly so much to do here: 🚂 Miniature railway (£1 per passenger) 🛶 Paddle boats (unsure as we didn’t go here) 🏰 Bouncy castles (£2 per child - 5 rounds per slide or 8-9mins on the bouncy castle) 🛝 Play parks for all ages 🌳 Perfect picnic spots
