Happy London Eye Sunday āØ
Hereās a night shot from Westminster Bridge. I absolutely love this view ā itās truly iconic, especially when the London Eye reflects in the Thames. Nothing beats it at night when everything is illuminated š

One of my favourite views in London is Tower Bridge from London Bridge. Itās also the perfect spot to capture sunriseāsomething Iāve been meaning to do for ages. Itās been on my list for so long! Iāll get there soon, but itās just too cold at the moment haha š¤

A few shots from my day trip to Braga. When I visited, the city was hosting the European Police and Fire Games, and firefighters were racing up the steps of Bom Jesus do Monte in full gear. It was such a surreal experience to witness.
The first two photos show Bom Jesus do Monte, an 18th-century Baroque sanctuary perched on a hilltop and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019. The site is known for its grand stairway, elegant fountains, landscaped gardens and a historic water-powered funicular dating back to the late 19th century.
The final image features the Gruta Artificial de Ernesto Korrodi, a romantic artificial cave tucked away in the surrounding woodland. Created in the early 1900s by Swiss-Portuguese architect Ernesto Korrodi, the grotto is designed to feel organic, with textured stone, gently flowing water and a small waterfall that blends beautifully into the natural setting.
If you know me, youāll know I have a soft spot for beautiful, colourful architecture ā and this place certainly delivered. Largo da Pena Ventosa is a charming little square tucked away in Portoās SĆ© district, surrounded by vibrant houses, terraces and cosy cafĆ©s. I couldnāt resist coming here early in the morning, before the crowds arrived š¤

Another shot from last week during the blue hour, following the one taken at Victoria Embankment. When I saw the sky starting to change and daylight beginning, you shouldāve seen how quickly I ran here š¤ Shortly afterward I arrived, the sky changed completely and it was daytime šš

While out on an early morning walk, I happened upon this spot and couldnāt resist taking a photo. I was on my way to Livraria Lello when the impressive building rising behind the Porto sign caught my attention.
The building is Porto City Hall, a striking and imposing example of civic architecture. Construction began in 1920, following the design of architect António Correia da Silva, and the project was finally completed in 1955.
At its centre stands a 70-metre clock tower, whose bells ring out across the city, reflecting the importance Portoās residents place on civic identity and public life.
In the foreground is a statue created by sculptor Barata Feio in 1954. It depicts the renowned poet Almeida Garrett (1799ā1854), honouring his lasting contribution to Portuguese culture.
If youāve been following for a while, youāll know that every New Year I go through my SSDs and look for photos from previous years that I may have forgotten about.
This time, I went back to 2023 and found this gem. I donāt know why I never posted it ā my guess is that I didnāt know how to edit night shots back then, so I gave up on it. So hereās a re-edited photo from 2023 š¤š

I was lucky enough to visit GuimarĆ£es while in Portugal, and it certainly didnāt disappoint. The views were incredible, and the food was just as memorable. One thing I was especially looking forward to was seeing this beautiful spot.
This view looks out over the Church of the Santos Passos, an 18th-century Portuguese Baroque church best known for its role in GuimarĆ£esā Holy Week processions. Built in the 1700s, it stands out for its elegant faƧade and prominent position overlooking the historic centre.
Welcome to the Portugal series! Over the next few weeks (or months), Iāll be sharing some of my favourite photos from my travels around northern Portugal. Youāll see shots from Porto, Braga and GuimarĆ£es.
As with every trip Iāve taken to Portugal, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The people were incredibly friendly, and the overall vibe was amazing. If you havenāt visited Portugal before, I canāt recommend it enough!
The photo above shows the Church of Saint Ildefonso, an 18th-century Baroque church located near Batalha Square. It was built between 1709 and 1739.
To celebrate, I thought Iād share some of my favourite photos ever (and gives me an excuse to repost that first photo š¤) If youāve been here a while, you may have seen these before š„°
Itās been quite a journey to get to this point, and Iām still learning more every day. Iām really enjoying exploring different styles of photography and meeting so many wonderful people.
Thank you all for the support youāve given me ā¤ļø
