So sah das Ding vermutlich aus, das wir am Haken hatten.
Doch kurz vor dem Release, ca. 2 Meter unter der Wasseroberfläche hat das Monster geschickt den Kopf gedreht, hat einmal heftig um sich geschlagen, den Haken selbst gelöst und ist uns doch noch vor dem Real-Foto, nach über 90 Minuten Kampf an der Rute, entwischt. Wir waren zu dem Zeitpunkt des höchsten Adrenalinkicks mit völlig anderen Dingen beschäftigt als zu filmen, weshalb dieser Moment leider nicht mehr als Video festgehalten wurde. Aber was soll’s- That’s Fishing. Unfassbar krasser Tag und unsere 2 Begleitboote hatten etwas mehr Glück und jeweils 2 Blauflossen Thunfische von ca. 100-250 kg erfolgreich ans Boot gedrillt. Natürlich wurden alle Thunfische wieder freigelassen, da die Blauflossen-Tunas im Mittelmeer geschützt sind und die Entnahme stark reglementiert ist, zum Glück. 🙏🏼
Immerhin haben wir "ungewollt“ eine Möwe gefangen 🫣🫣🫣😳, aber auch sie konnten wir wieder unverletzt freilassen. 🙏🏼
Das Meer ist schon beeindruckend und wir sollten uns alle öfter wieder mit ihr und ihrer wilden und gewaltigen "Natur" auseinandersetzen.
Denn im Meer geht es allen Tieren nur um eines:
FRESSEN - ODER GEFRESSEN WERDEN. ☝️☝️☝️
Emphatie unterscheidet uns Menschen zwar etwas - aber wir sollten uns niemals ganz von der Natur entfremden.
RESPEKT & EHRFURCHT durchfluten mich daher auf dem Wasser immer so stark.
Deswegen finde ich die Jagd nach so unfassbaren Wesen der Meere so interessant und das kleine Tier in mir sagt manchmal dann auch, „viele schmecken auch noch so verdammt gut“. 🫣😋😋😋
Was soll ich sagen, ich bin halt ein alter Hemingway-Jung. 🫣 "Der alte Mann und das Meer" hat mich in meiner Kindheit geprägt.
Und ich bevorzuge es Immer lieber selbst etwas zu fangen, als an der Kühltheke durch Massenfang und Überfischung zu kaufen. ☝️☝️☝️
NACHHALTIGKEIT ist immer das A & O - bei allen Dingen ☝️☝️☝️
Das müssen wir uns immer wieder vor Augen halten.
