Base silhouette Can be created with just 3 yards of fabric or 3 yard wrap..but double length for the reveal 🙌🏻
Step 1- Practice wrapping legs without a manual assist.. this takes time so be patient! Don’t be afraid to turn your hips slightly to allow the second leg to wrap.
Step 2- Try leg wrapping in a mild inversion like shoulder stand… use an inversion that allows you to see your legs.
Step 3-Practice in an inversion where you cannot see your legs like headstand.. you can slightly “Pike” your hips down to catch the second leg.. once it’s hooked over, you have to “shimmy” the second foot down into your hip crease.. then lift your hips over shoulders
Step 4- Practice in an inversion most similar to handstand like forearm stand.. it helps to slightly split your legs to get the first foot in place.

Playing around with weight transfer for one arm handstands.. haven’t trained these in a while, but I have a goal to have it by winter! They are so frustrating.. it feels like I’m learning handstand all over again.. the joys of yoga 🧘♂️

I was going to use this “technique” for a burlesque show I’m choreographing.. since everyone typically comes on stage fully dressed and then disrobes.. I figured why not get dressed on stage? I call it deconstructed burlesque! I Originally filmed this to teach the performer how to drape in secs!
