Going to the gym for me was never about getting in shape but for my mental health (getting in shape and addicted to working out is a nice bonus). I had been dealing with depression on and off since 2018 and even got a burn-out. Beginning of 2023 I reached my lowest point and that’s when things had to change. Bestie helped me to go to the gym which made me feel so much better and I also started therapy. Since then I’ve been focused on healing and growing.
I’m not yet where I want to be, mentally & physically, but I’ve come such a long way and seeing pictures like these makes me realize that 🙏🏻
