手水舎には、満開の薔薇が美しく咲いていました。
この薔薇の品種は「アンジェラ」だそうです。
今回も前回に続き、ちょうど参拝のタイミングでお花の入れ替えに立ち会うことができました。
毎年お会いしますが、今年は初めて鹿追神社さんとお話しする機会にも恵まれました。
毎年こうして足を運ぶ中で、ご挨拶を交わせるような関係になれたことを、とても嬉しく、ありがたく感じています。
何気ないご縁の積み重ねが、足を運びたいと思える理由のひとつなのかもしれません。

鹿追神社の手水舎にいる竜はなんか可愛い。
さんが、鹿追神社に
芍薬・菖蒲をご奉納して頂いたとの事で早速。

この漢字が読めなくて調べてしまった😂

「芍薬」は普段あまり見かけない漢字なので読みにくいですが、写真のピンク色で豪華に咲いている花が芍薬です😍
ちなみに有名な言葉に、
立てば芍薬、座れば牡丹、歩く姿は百合の花
という美人をたとえたことわざがあるそうです。
今回の花手水の主役はまさにその「芍薬（しゃくやく）」です。
花びらが幾重にも重なっていて本当に見事です。

最近SNSを見ていると、「やらない後悔より、やる後悔」という言葉をよく目にする。
もちろん、その言葉に背中を押される人もいると思うし、実際に一歩踏み出せる人もいるだろう。
でも、その言葉を見て「自分は行動を起こせないダメな人なんだ」と思わないでほしい。
人にはそれぞれ事情がある。
今は動かない方がいい時もあるし、慎重に考えるべき場面もある。
やることに勇気が必要なように、やらないと決めることにも勇気がいる。
周りから何を言われても、自分の状況や価値観と向き合い、「今はやらない」と判断することは決して弱さではない。
むしろ、自分で考えて選択する強さだと思う。
「やる勇気」だけが評価される世の中だけれど、僕は「やらない勇気」も同じくらい尊重されるべきだと思う。
僕の言葉で、肩の荷が軽くなる人が居たら本望です。

投稿も北海道からちょっと出ます。
昨日ついに、太田山神社参拝してきました。
台風の影響で、道内ほぼ全域で雨。
函館方面だけ雨が降らない予報でしたので、急遽覚悟を決めました。
帯広から、せたな町まで約420km。
時間にして7時間半。
太田山神社参拝まで1時間半。
下山約30分かなりハード。
太田山神社に近づくにつれて、太陽が登り、道中の天候の悪さが嘘のよう。まるで歓迎されているかのようなとても不思議な体験でした。
神様ありがとう御座いました🙏
