You usually see me dancing at work 😂 but this time I wanted to show you a closer look at what I actually do during a FIFO swing ✈️
A big part of my job is monitoring water quality around the mine site here in WA 💧 I collect different types of water samples across the site to help make sure potable water is safe to use and environmental requirements are being met 🧪🌱
My days also involve checking field measurements, recording data, writing reports and preparing samples to be sent to the lab 🚙💧
Before working in mining, I honestly didn’t realise how many different roles and teams were involved behind the scenes 🤔 Environmental work is just one of them! 🌱🌏

Never thought that simply sharing my life, working FIFO, dancing wherever I go, and just being myself would lead to something like this.
When I moved from Japan to Australia alone in 2022, I had no idea where life would take me. There have been so many challenges, changes and unexpected moments along the way, but somehow they’ve all brought me here.
Looking back, I think I’ve always been conscious that, as someone who came here from overseas, I needed to study harder, work harder, push myself a little further, and keep going even when things got tough, because otherwise I felt like I’d fall behind.
I’m still figuring life out, still learning, still chasing new things, but moments like this remind me how far I’ve come.
Thank you to everyone who has been following my journey, supporting my videos, saying hi to me in person, sending me messages, or simply watching from the other side of the screen. It genuinely means more than you know 💞💞💞
And I’m so happy that posting videos on Instagram has helped me connect with so many amazing people here in Australia! ♡

The mornings I fly out are ridiculously early, but thanks to FIFO, my body wakes up before my alarm anyway 😂 One of the best perks of FIFO is getting to fly with Qantas, all paid for by the company✈️❤️

Officially completed the Masters in Environmental Management at. Every endeavour I hav made so far is here now. Couldn't hav made it without my family support and all the lovely people ive met throughout the two years. Im now very proud to be a UQ alumnus. Absolutely that's a great way to end 2022.

オーストラリアのクイーンズランド大学の環境学修士課程を修了しました🎓🇦🇺！海外大学院は自分には厳しいかなと思うことも多かったけど、諦めずにここまでこれて本当に良かったです。学費や精神面で支えてくれた家族や日本の友達には感謝の気持ちでいっぱい。海外で大学院生活を送る中で、私は恵まれた環境に生まれて、普通の家庭ではできないことをさせてもらってるということを常に感じていました。その分社会にしっかり還元していかなければならない使命感を今感じてます。
そして、ここで素敵な人たちと出会えて僕は今とっっっても幸せです🫶これからもたくさん色んな人に出会って人生豊かにしていけたらいいな。
