I wrote this quote in my latest newsletter, and the more I think about it, the more important it feels.
AI is rapidly taking over many of the tasks that once consumed our time: reports, meeting notes, schedule updates, data consolidation, analysis, and much of the operational work around projects.
But when the routine becomes automated, what happens to us?We are left with the things that cannot simply be repeated:
Judgment. Curiosity. Relationships. Adaptability. The ability to connect ideas that don’t seem connected. 😊
And, above all, the ability to see something differently.
But there is a problem.
You cannot think differently if you keep feeding your brain the same inputs.
That is one of the reasons I keep going back to Burning Man. Not because I enjoy dust 😂 but because it deliberately puts me in an environment where many of my usual assumptions stop working.
