You probably have lots of questions - here’s a simple guide to help you understand when and how to book your session.
✨When should I book my newborn session? The ideal time for newborn photos is within the first 2–3 weeks after birth, when babies are naturally sleepier and easiest to pose.
Most parents reserve their session during pregnancy. We pencil in a session based on your due date, and once the baby arrives, we confirm a firm date.
✨ Last-minute availability is sometimes possible, so feel free to get in touch.
✨What if my baby is older? These timeframes are helpful guidelines, not strict rules. If your little one is older than 5 weeks, we may not be able to capture all the curled-up poses newborns can do, but we can still create beautiful, timeless images of your baby and family. Every age has its own charm, and those awake baby photos are often the best ones! 🤍
✨What about maternity & family sessions? • Maternity photos are best taken between 28–34 weeks for a beautifully rounded bump. • Family sessions can be booked whenever it suits you; weekends and school holidays fill quickly, so early booking is recommended.
