I’m here in town with my fiancée, trying to capture this devastating scene. Amid the mangled, flattened riverfront, there are both heroic acts of service and heartbreaking stories of loss.
Over 850 people have been rescued by first responders and emergency services. However, more than 100 are confirmed dead, with many still missing, many of them children.
In moments like these, people come together. All we can do is help.
