Not because I met Apostle Folorunso Alakija - The richest black woman in Africa. A name I brag with every birthday, because we are birthday mates. Not because we held hands, laughed together, or because she so warmly embraced me.
But because in that moment, ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฑ.
I still donโt know how she found me. I donโt know who mentioned my name. I donโt know what conversation happened in a room I wasnโt in that led to an invitation to pour into the women of her ministry.
And maybe that is exactly what makes this so emotional for me.
Because sometimes, while you are quietly walking the road God gave you, you wonder if anybody sees. You watch other people move faster. You wonder if you should change direction, become louder, follow what is trending, or somehow help God make your name known.
And then God gives you a moment that whispers:
