This was an unmissable opportunity to access and explore unique spaces, including the homes of some of Lebanon’s most renowned architects, the breathtaking Roman Baths, the legendary Union Building, and the unfinished landmark Burj El Murr, a former military site from the country's civil war. Needless to say, my excitement was through the roof.

The Design in Conflict student exhibition, curated by and inside Burj El Murr, showcased how students from nine Lebanese universities explored the influence of conflict on space and form.
At the Roman Baths, curator masterfully orchestrated a compelling dialogue between contemporary design and history for the exhibition ‘Of Water and Stone’.
The modernist landmark Immeuble de L’Union got to shine during ‘Union: A Journey of Light’, curated by architects and, highlighting its importance as a testament to the city’s evolution and growth.
Finally, architect opened the doors of his incredible apartment overlooking the city for this year’s Open House event.
