I love you so much.
I was born on september 3rd in Bangladesh 🇧🇩 Dhaka in that same month. But when I turned nine years old I moved to Germany 🇩🇪
I have spend 2/3 of my life in Germany.
I am not that young anymore, but I feel more confident and content than ever before.
In my childhood I attended elementary school in Bangladesh, but unfortunately I don’t know any of my childhood friends anymore.
When I arrived in Germany everything was very challenging for me. Especially because I was at an age, where I understood a lot, but could not express myself or integrate, because of the language barrier.
That is why I was seen as someone else, a foreigner...even in Bangladesh. I struggled to find the place where I really belonged.
But over the course of time I understood where I belong. I no longer belong to Bangladesh, but to Germany.
Of course, I will never forget where I came from and where I was born. But I can’t thank Germany and my mother enough for who I am now.
